This class creates a wonderful space for you to layer, paste, rip and snip your way to the most delightful and personal gift tags that your friends & family will ever receive. We use a combination of discarded photo proofs from my personal stash, ephemera, old books and magazines and bright, bold & patterned locally designed and printed papers, you will learn some easy processes that you can then take with you anywhere, it’s compact, creative, and very satisfying. Imagine the joy of gifting a present to a loved one that includes a mini piece of art created by your hands and imagination.

You will learn a few basic collage concepts along with some colour basics, elements & principles of composition and creating. Light refreshments & all materials and supplies will be provided to keep you energised and your creativity flowing along with gentle guidance to help your creative flow get started.

Join us in this fun and enjoyable hands on class, crafting the most wonderful handmade gift tags you will ever see, we have partnered with Reimagined Images to create a series of classes to utilize some of the framing business materials that would normally go into the waste alongside our locally designed and printed art papers. We want to give you a creative experience that you can then incorporate into your regular creative practice or to easily start one, to help you take home the skills you learn in class you also get access to our virtual group Club CoCreate where you will get demo’s, free pintables and early access to all our upcoming classes and events. The satisfaction & feel good vibes that come from creating something artistic and creative that is also going towards environmental sustainability is next level awesome. All materials and light refreshments are provided, all you need to bring is yourself and a spirit of creative adventure, bring a friend and get a bonus craft pack for free for both of you. The Collaged Gift Tag class has multiple techniques that you will learn and be able to take with you to be able to use with projects at home, you will also learn about colour strategies and composition artistry. In this creative class you get to create in one of Port Macquaries leading local art spaces, Sunset Framing & Gallery on Central Road, with gallery manager, photographer, digital artist and creative facilitator Cherie Morton. Cherie has been working in the photography field & creative business since the late 80’s and comes with a wealth of experience and an eagerness to share it and not only creative wisdom either but also plenty of info on local secrets & hidden gems. Join us in Sunset Framing & Gallery’s main gallery space at 2/25 Central Road, Port Macquarie.
