Exhibition – Judy Jelsma
We’re currently showcasing a collection of works by local artist Judy Jelsma—an artist we’ve had the privilege of working alongside for over 20 years.

Judy’s work is instinctive, layered, and grounded in a strong sense of place. Many will recognise her for her winding country landscapes, where colour and movement draw you in, but this exhibition also reveals the broader scope of her practice.
Across this collection, you’ll see her exploration of landscape works—each piece built through a process of mark-making, texture, and intuitive decision-making.Working predominantly in acrylic, Judy allows each painting to evolve naturally—adding, refining, and resolving until the work feels complete.
There’s a quiet confidence in this approach, shaped by decades of painting, teaching, and continued exploration both locally and internationally.
This is a collection that rewards time in front of it. The detail, the layers, and the energy of the work are best experienced in person. We invite you to step into the gallery and view the exhibition for yourself.
If you cannot make it in then we invite you to view her art works in our online shop Judy Jelsma Collection
