Cherie is the Business Curator and in-house Photographer at Sunset Framing & Gallery—a role that brings together over 35 years of commercial photography, regional small business experience, and a deep commitment to community-led creativity.
Having built and managed multiple businesses across industries—from photography studios and rural enterprises to digital content services—Cherie brings a unique mix of strategic thinking, hands-on creativity, and entrepreneurial know-how. Her experience spans visual storytelling, retail management, community project development, and arts-focused business growth.
At Sunset Framing & Gallery, Cherie oversees daily operations, curates exhibitions, facilitates creative groups, and leads the gallery’s digital content and design. Her creative practice includes photography, multimedia art, and surface pattern design, often blending her own imagery with local digital contributions to create accessible, regionally inspired decor prints.As the gallery’s in-house photographer, she documents everything from artist works and community events to the behind-the-scenes moments that shape the gallery’s character. Her down-to-earth approach and ability to bridge creativity with commercial insight have made her a trusted mentor and collaborator across the Mid North Coast arts sector.
