.Check your felt “bumpers” on the back of the frame to make sure they are still there. They help to keep a flow of air between the wall and the frame this helps to prevent mould.

.Make sure the taping around the back edging of your frame is all in place, this helps to keep moisture out - and also those pesky summer gnats from getting in.

.Check to see if the flow of light has changed in the house, if your frame and artwork are getting direct sun, move it or bring it in for an upgrade to UV glass.

.Look over your matt boards, if you see spots or discolouration (thats mould or acid) that means its got a problem, but just like if you get rust in your car its totally treatable if you catch it early.

If any of these hot tips are making you sweat then just drop in and see the super chill Framer Scott and he can get you sorted and back to feelin groovy in no time.
