POSTER DESIGN FEATURES: A particularly attractive 1950s Australian design featuring a full-length illustrated José Ferrer and Gena Rowlands embracing, set against a pale blue geometric background. Strong red and blue hand-lettered typography, Ferrer's vivid yellow suit and Rowlands' pink nightwear give the poster excellent mid-century colour and display appeal.

COLLECTOR'S NOTE: Particularly significant as the feature-film debut of Gena Rowlands, who went on to become one of the most acclaimed American screen actresses of her generation. José Ferrer both stars and directs, making this an interesting early Rowlands collectible as well as a strong example of 1950s MGM romantic-comedy advertising.
