A little about our collection's history: Patriarch and retired framer Stuart Rayner ran the Bathurst Drive-In and multiple movie theaters in Sydney and Port Macquarie. His son, Scott Rayner, current business owner and framer, also managed projection rooms in landmark Sydney cinemas. Their combined passion has resulted in one of the largest Original Movie Poster collections in the country.
Since the 1890s, movie posters have been culturally significant, often groundbreaking in design and politically defiant. Their vibrant, bold artwork makes them valuable as both collectibles and artworks today.
