POSTER DESIGN FEATURES: A very 1970s Australian Daybill combining photographic imagery with bold comedy advertising. Victor Mature appears twice in his white Mafia-boss suit, while Lynn Redgrave's nanny carries his son across the centre. The black-and-white upper panel cheekily parodies The Godfather with the line “I’m gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse.” Coral-red and purple title lettering and the vintage Playboy magazine visible in the central image add to its unmistakable period character.

COLLECTOR'S NOTE: A fun piece of early-1970s crime-comedy memorabilia with several interesting collector connections. Every Little Crook and Nanny brought Victor Mature out of retirement for his first major screen role since 1966, alongside Lynn Redgrave and a supporting cast including The Addams Family's John Astin, Dom DeLuise and Pat Morita. The Australian poster's overt spoof of The Godfather advertising is particularly interesting: both films were released in 1972, giving this Daybill a great snapshot of the Mafia craze then sweeping popular culture.
