The Buttercup Chain is a 1970 British romantic drama following four young people whose intertwined relationships become increasingly complicated. Adapted from Janice Elliott's 1967 novel, the film was shot in England, Spain and Sweden.
POSTER DESIGN FEATURES: A wonderfully period-specific Australian Daybill dominated by bright pink, yellow and black. The four principal characters appear within oversized yellow buttercup flowers connected into a chain, surrounding a central romantic photographic image.
