Starting Over is a 1979 romantic comedy starring Burt Reynolds as a recently divorced man attempting to rebuild his life while caught between his ex-wife, played by Candice Bergen, and a new relationship with Jill Clayburgh.

COLLECTOR'S NOTE: Starting Over earned two Academy Award acting nominations, for Jill Clayburgh as Best Actress and Candice Bergen as Best Supporting Actress. It was also the first feature-film screenplay written by James L. Brooks, who later created Terms of Endearment and co-created The Simpsons.
