This previously framed piece came into our workshop after falling from the wall and badly damaging the corner of the frame. The impact had split the joint and removed too much timber for the existing rails to be safely and securely rejoined. Rather than applying a temporary fix, the damaged rails needed to be replaced so the frame could be properly reconstructed, giving the artwork a strong and secure frame once again.
