Zero to Sixty is a 1978 comedy starring Darren McGavin as a recently divorced man whose encounter with a street-smart teenage car repossessor pulls him into the chaotic world of repossessing cars. Joan Collins and Sylvia Miles co-star.

POSTER DESIGN FEATURES: Bright turquoise, black and white Australian Daybill with a photographic collage built around a speeding car, Darren McGavin and Denise Nickerson. The large stylised Zero to Sixty title incorporates a speedometer, reinforcing the film’s motoring theme.

COLLECTOR'S NOTE: An interesting late-1970s ensemble piece with Joan Collins and Darren McGavin, who also wrote the screenplay under his birth name, W. Lyle Richardson. Denise Nickerson — best remembered as Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory — received an “introducing” credit here, and Zero to Sixty became her final theatrical feature film.
